Strength
I was reading a book today by my friend and mentor Robin Sharma he wrote, “with purpose comes passion.”, true isn’t it? I am so busy on a daily basis that sometimes I simply shut down. I need to remember the reason I do things, it’s not me… it’s for them. To make their world and the world around them better. I am truly blessed that I have a position in which I can do that.
So do you though, the choices that we make each day are HUGE.
Mother Teresa said’ “If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one.”
What if we all realized that through our own actions we can draw strength. So tomorrow I speak to a group of young people… tomorrow I will find my strength in my actions, for my children and in the end for me!
Here is today’s question… Read it, write it, answer and PLEASE share it here on the STUpendous BLOG!
What do you find strength in and why?
Stu,
Nice post, strength has a lot to do with the everyday life. As for me, I find strength in my conversations with friends. The sharing of our time together makes me appreciate what I have and encourages me to do more.
Hope things are well Stu!

I really find strength in my mom. My mom struggles every day to be physically active and keep a positive attitude. But somehow every day my mom smiles, does tonnes of housework, cooks my family dinner and does this all while dealing with a debilitating disease. So when I am down and out I just remember that if my mom can do it so can I. My mom is truly an inspiration in my life, and is a very independent person, and does not want to rely on others for help just because of her circumstances, so I just have to remind myself to say that if my mom can do it so can I!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see strength in children, all over the place. It isn’t a rare occasion to see a child fall down, cry for a minute and then get back up again as if it never happened.. Sometimes I wonder why I can’t do that. It is inspirational to see somebody so small fight off pain like that and go on living like it never happened. Or to hear of a month old baby with such problems but keep fighting to live. I just find it so miraculous.
